The Massachusetts Legislature cares about children.
In March, the Joint Committee on Public Health sponsored “An Act to protect youth from the health risks of sugary drinks.” Drawing on separate House and Senate bills, the push is to prohibit the marketing of sugary drinks in schools and on school grounds.
